Senior Buyer for Consulting Assignment in Healthcare and Social Care

On behalf of our client, we are looking for someone with the right qualifications, experience, and personality for this assignment.

Do you, as an experienced buyer, want to take a comprehensive approach to the purchasing area and create clear, sustainable structures in a healthcare and social care organization? We are looking for a self-driven senior buyer for a consulting assignment of 50–100 percent. The assignment involves establishing processes, working with framework agreements, developing item databases, and driving data-driven purchasing work with a focus on consumables.

Responsibilities

The assignment involves professionalizing the purchasing area and creating structure where it is lacking. You will work closely with operations and finance, driving both strategy, methodology, and practical implementation.

Your main responsibilities include:

Developing and implementing purchasing processes and governance
Ensuring well-functioning framework agreements, including requirement setting, negotiation, and follow-up
Building and quality-assuring item databases for consumables
Conducting spend analyses and identifying savings opportunities
Working with suppliers and ensuring contract compliance
Supporting the business in orders and call-offs
Driving improvement work related to structure, systems, and working methods

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has/is:

Several years of experience in qualified purchasing work
Experience in building or improving purchasing processes
Documented experience with framework agreements and contract management
Good familiarity with spend analysis and purchasing data
Experience with indirect materials and consumables
Good system knowledge in purchasing/ERP and good Excel skills
Accustomed to working independently and driving both analysis and implementation
